Frequently asked questions
Can Matrice 400 operate in rain?
DJI rates Matrice 400 IP55 and specifies rain no heavier than 100 mm/24 h. The rating is not permanent and may decrease with wear, so follow the user manual, local aviation rules and safe weather limits.
Which payloads and accessories are supported?
Representative compatible equipment includes Zenmuse H30/H30T, L3, L2, P1, S1 and V1; Manifold 3; and D-RTK 3 or D-RTK 2. Supported transmission and development accessories include the DJI RC Plus 2 sub2G SDR Module, DJI Cellular Dongle 2, DJI X-Port, DJI E-Port V2 kits and DJI SKYPORT V3 kits. Port, mount, firmware and regional frequency requirements vary, so confirm the final configuration before order.
Are Matrice 400 and Matrice 350 RTK accessories interchangeable?
No. DJI states that Matrice 400 and Matrice 350 RTK accessories are not compatible with each other.
How long does TB100 charging take?
At 25°C, a TB100 charges from 0% to 100% in approximately 45 minutes in Fast mode or 110 minutes in Silent mode at 220 V; at 110 V, approximately 70 minutes in Fast mode or 110 minutes in Silent mode.
How is firmware updated?
Update the aircraft and remote controller with DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) on a computer, through DJI Pilot 2, or offline by downloading DJI’s firmware package to an SD card and inserting it into the remote controller.
