What this store keeps in your browser and what happens when you play external media.
Cookies and local storage are different technologies. Cookies can support security and signed-in sessions. Local storage remembers selections in your browser. This notice describes the current local store preview; tracking and provider details must be checked again before launch.
The store uses local storage key mirs-drone-guest-store-v1 to remember the enquiry cart as an essential shopping function. With your optional preference choice enabled, this key also remembers favourites, comparisons, recently viewed products and display currency between visits. With it off, those optional selections remain available in memory during the current visit. Rejecting optional storage removes the saved optional browser fields without clearing the cart.
Signed-in cart and favourites can synchronise with your account as part of the requested account service. Browser choices do not delete or change those account records; contact MIRS about account information separately.
Where account access or protected previews are used, cookies support authentication and access checks. Blocking them can prevent those features working. Names and lifetimes depend on the enabled service and deployment and need to be recorded before launch.
Optional analytics and marketing tags are not loaded by the current local storefront preview. Allowing optional storage does not activate advertising or analytics. This does not describe other MIRS websites. Any future tracking needs a separate purpose, provider and consent review before activation. Product-news consent on an enquiry form is separate from browser storage choices.
Product videos remain local posters until you allow external media and explicitly choose play. Playing loads a YouTube privacy-enhanced iframe; the service can receive your network address and playback activity and may use its own storage. Turning off external media removes embedded playback, but cannot undo information already sent. Privacy-enhanced playback does not guarantee no third-party processing. External links follow the destination service's own notice.
Use Cookie settings in the footer, or Manage cookie choices on this page, to allow or reject optional remembered preferences and external media. Essential security, sign-in, enquiry cart and choice-record storage remain available. Your choice is stored in mirs-cookie-choices-v1 for up to 180 days on this browser; expiry, a policy version change or clearing site storage can ask you again.
You can also inspect, block or clear site storage through browser settings. Clearing all site data can remove the cart and sign you out; rejecting optional storage in our controls does neither. If your browser blocks storage, the store applies your choices in memory for the current visit and may ask again next visit. These local controls do not replace a final provider audit or legal review before launch.
